• Risk management: Procedures and practices are regularly assessed for impartiality risks.
• Refusal policy: Unacceptable risks that cannot be mitigated result in refusal.
• Separate roles: Consultancy and certification services are strictly separated, including a minimum two-year separation for the same customer.

Staff disclose conflicts, management reviews mitigation plans, certification activities are assessed quarterly, and refusals include clear rationales and avenues for appeal or review.
